The Seminole County School Board fired a longtime teacher Tuesday night after an incident in the classroom.
Jeanne Michaud taught math at Lyman High School and had been with the district since 1982.
She was suspended earlier this semester after students complained she took out a wooden carving of a man's genitals and showed it in class. Michaud was also accused of cursing and using inappropriate language with students.
Local 6 looked into her history with the district and found more than a dozen reprimands on her record, including a one year suspension from her job back in 1991.
Michaud's latest suspension came on October 23rd. It is not known if she will attempt to appeal the school board's decision.
