EDGEWATER, Fla. -

Two teens -- ages 17 and 18 -- were arrested Thursday in Volusia County in connection with the theft of several guns, including an AK-47.

Nicholas Harris, 17, and Matthew Pogg,18, both of Edgewater, were arrested on charges of armed burglary of a conveyance, burglary of a conveyance and five counts of grand theft of a firearm.

Pogg also faces charges of shooting into an occupied dwelling, dealing in stolen property, improper exhibition of a firearm and open carry of a firearm.

According to Edgewater police, officers executed two search warrants on Thursday, two days after five guns were stolen from a car.  Four of the five guns -- an AK-47, a 9 mm rifle, a 9 mm Mac 10 and a 9 mm Mac 11 -- were recovered.  Police continue to look for a .45-caliber handgun.

Police said the stolen guns changed hands at least three times in less than 48 hours.

According to police, several shots were fired near Travelers Palm Drive and 26th Street after the theft, with a bullet hitting a home at 2530 Kumquat Drive.  A woman inside the home was not injured.
