Thieves steal $100,000 in electronics from Best Buy in Central Florida

More than $100,000 in electronics is stolen from a Marion County store.

OCALA, Fla. -

A group of thieves stole more than $100,000 in electronics from a Best Buy in Marion County.

Ocala police on Monday released video showing the group of four masked assailants breaking into the store on Southwest College Road over the weekend.

The thieves smashed an alarm system and took off but returned several hours later and burglarized the store, taking smartphones and other items, police said.

Ocala police said the crime could be linked to similar burglaries in South Florida.
