Roads reopen after train hits truck in Orlando

A train crashes into a truck in downtown Orlando, causing major traffic backups.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

A train crashed into a truck Tuesday morning in downtown Orlando, causing major traffic backups.

The crash occurred around 6:20 a.m. on Amelia Street between Orange Avenue and Garland Avenue. 

The stopped train blocked all intersections along the tracks in the downtown area from Amelia Street north to Virginia.  The train was moved around 9:15 a.m., however, and the roads were reopened, police said.

According to Orlando police, the truck was unoccupied and no one was injured in the crash.
