Truck packed with 41,000 pounds of frozen food stolen in Winter Haven

A big rig carrying a trailer full of frozen food is stolen in Central Florida.

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. -

Police are asking for the public's help in finding the thieves who stole a truck filled with frozen food.

Winter Haven police say they were called Sunday to the Royal Inn, where a 2006 blue Freightliner truck was taken. The truck and its 53-foot trailer were last seen on Saturday night.

The trailer was packed with 41,000 pounds of frozen food.

Police say the truck's license plate is F25901. The utility trailer's tag number is 0923CE.

Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Charles Bolton at 863-401-2257. Callers can remain anonymous and may receive a cash reward if the suspects are captured.
