WINTER PARK, Fla. -

For the first time, a SunRail car was brought into the Winter Park train station for residents to take a look.

During a Radio Disney Event, which drew hundreds, people were able to see the train cars from the inside out and voice their opinions on what they thought.

The car was parked at the station located off Park Avenue in Central Park from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to display the features the cars have to offer.

SunRail was approved and developed as a means of public transportation to connect Volusia, Seminole, Orange and Osceola Counties.

SunRail officials said the trains will arrive at each station every 30 minutes during peak service times when traffic on the roads is typically at its worst.

During non-peak periods, trains will operate every 2 hours. Initially, there will be no service on the weekends.
