CLERMONT, Fla. -

Lake County deputies say a woman found dead in the woods was spotted with a man at a Walmart just two days earlier.

The body of Cheri Houston, 28, was found by a person walking their dog in the woods off Hancock and Hartwood Marsh roads on April 4.

On Wednesday, deputies revealed that two days earlier, Houston was seen with an unknown man at the Walmart on West Colonial Drive in Ocoee. The two can be seen walking together in the parking lot before driving off in a late 1990s-model Ford Explorer.

Houston is originally from Georgia, but investigators say she lived a transient lifestyle and had been in the Winter Garden and Ocoee areas since late last month.

Deputies have not said how Houston died, only that her death was suspicious.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lake County Sheriff's Office or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
