SAN ANTONIO (KSAT) -

It wasn't a typical stolen goods recovery for police.

Investigators with the San Antonio Police Department found weapons, marijuana, heroin, rims, jewelry, laptops, tablets and other electronics at a house in San Antonio Tuesday afternoon.

Most of the items had been stolen, says SAPD Officer Douglas Greene.

Bella, a tiny, scared pup, was found hiding under a bed at the home.

The dog was reported stolen by her owners from Florida on Thursday.

They were visiting San Antonio when Bella and a laptop were stolen from their vehicle in the parking lot of a Chili's off Interstate 10.

"Bella did have a microchip and we were able to have her checked out by a vet," Greene said. "She checked out fine. Her health is good and we were able to verify that Bella was the same dog that was taken from our victim's vehicle. It was a huge relief for them."

Police arrested Steven Martinez, 26, in connection with the car break-in.

According to Greene, Martinez was arrested on a parole violation but will likely be charged with burglary of a vehicle.

Two other people were also arrested at the home on Flint Rock.

One of them was Desiree Alcoser, 25. Greene did not identify the third person.

Detectives continue to investigate to find out where the stolen items came from.

Meanwhile, Bella is staying with a foster caregiver while her true owners make arrangements to be reunited with her.
