COCOA, Fla. -

It was a beautiful night for high school football in Cocoa. The Tigers hosted the Astronaut War Eagles for this week's ClickOrlando.com High School Game of the Week.

Astronaut would get off to a hot start. Quarterback James Lowder connected with wide receiver Tez Keels for the 80 yard catch and run. But penalties would push the War Eagles back and they were forced to kick a field goal and kicker Tristan Schuleties would not convert.

The Tigers would take advantage because on the very next play quarterback Bruce Judson hit Jamel Dean on a slant and Dean was off to the races. The 80 yard pass and catch put the Tigers up 7-0 following the extra point.

In the 3rd, Cocoa running back Lorrenzo Pratt scampered for the 23 yard touchdown run. Following the extra point, the Tigers went up 14-0.

The biggest hit of the game goes to Cocoa line backer Brandon Phillips when he drilled Astronaut's Tristan Shultheis in the 4th quarter.

The score would remain 14-0 until the War Eagles' James Lowder found Devell Taylor streaking across the middle. The touchdown cut the lead to 7 with just 4 minutes left in the game.

But the War Eagles would run out of time. Lowder missed his receiver on 4th down and the Tigers would go on to win 14-7.

Make sure you vote for next week's ClickOrlando.com High School Game of the Week. Voting ends 3 p.m. on Thursday.
