According to the sheriff’s office, Vilmarie Munet, of Kissimmee, was traveling west on Cypress Parkway in her gray Toyota Camry when she went into the eastbound lane for some reason.

Her vehicle went in front of a gray Toyota Camry driven by a 54-year-old Haines City man who tried to swerve out of the way, but the cars collided, deputies said.

Munet was found dead in her car and the man was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Both drivers were not wearing seat belts, the sheriff’s office said.

The crash shut down Cypress Parkway for four hours.
