Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges' weather forecast for Orlando and Central Florida.

It's going to be a dreary Valentine's Day -- at least weather-wise -- in Central Florida.

The high temperature in Orlando on Thursday  will reach 70 degrees, a cooldown from Wednesday's record-breaking temperature of 89 degrees.

"We'll see on and off rain -- not a total washout -- if you're planning to take your Valentine out on the town," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.  "Enjoy the 70s now, because it's going to be even cooler this weekend."

Bridges said there would be a 40 percent coverage area of rain in Central Florida.

The overnight low will drop into the low 50s.

Friday's high will max out at 67 degrees, and lows into the 30s are expected by early Sunday morning.

High temps return to the mid-70s next week.
