ORLANDO, Fla. – Sunshine will abound Friday in Central Florida, with high temperatures climbing into the upper 70s.
Expect a high of 79 in Orlando. The average high on this date is 78. The record high is 89, set in 1957.
"We didn’t see any rain across Central Florida on Thursday, putting our deficit at 1.01 inches since Jan 1," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "We will continue to stay dry into Saturday, but we will watch a new front approach on Sunday, bringing a 30 percent chance of rain."
The high will hit 81 on Saturday and 79 on Sunday.
Overnight lows will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Temperatures will be cooler behind the front.
Expect a high of 73 on Monday, with morning lows in the 40s and 50s.
Rain chances increase ahead of Thanksgiving.
Expect a 40 percent chance of rain on Tuesday and a 30 percent coverage of on Wednesday and for Thanksgiving Day.

Highs will be in the mid- and upper 70s from the beginning of the week through Thanksgiving.
Tracking the tropics
An elongated area of low pressure extends from the southwest to the northeast across the southwestern and central Caribbean Sea.
This system continues to produce widespread shower and thunderstorm activity.
Strong upper-level winds are expected to prevent significant development.
Regardless of development, heavy rain is possible over portions of Hispaniola and Puerto Rico during the next few days.
The hurricane center said there's a 20 percent chance of development over the next five days.
