A day after highs reached the mid-70s in the Orlando area, a blast of cold air -- the first of three cold fronts coming to the region -- will drop temperatures, making it feel like it's in the 20s for parts of Central Florida.

"This front will bring in cooler, drier air, and usher in some pretty brisk winds," said Local 6 Chief Meteorologist Tom Sorrells.

After reaching a high in the mid-70s on Tuesday, overnight lows into early Thursday will dip to 42 degrees  in Orlando, with wind chills making it feel even cooler. In Ocala, the temperatures will be in the low 30s, prompting a wind chill advisory from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday in Volusia, Flagler, Marion and Lake counties.

Thursday's high will be 57 degrees in Orlando, and early Friday will see a low of 40 degrees before reaching a high of 66.

Saturday another cold front arrives with a high of only 59 and a low of 40. The weekend will see mostly sunny skies with high temperatures ranging from the upper 50s to the mid-60s.  Lows will be in the low to mid-40s.

No rain is in the forecast through the weekend.
