ORLANDO, Fla. -

After some fog to start the day in parts of Central Florida, sunshine will help burn it off before the day heats up.

"More sun Thursday afternoon will lead to a hot day for Central Florida," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Highs will reach the upper 80s in the Orlando area on Thursday and through the weekend.

"Rain chances stay away until Sunday at 20 percent," Bridges said.

On and off rain chances continue through next week.
