Rain could lead to soggy fireworks celebrations day before 4th of July

Troy Bridges' weather forecast to plan your 4th of July holiday.  Wednesday, July 3, 2013.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

There's a good chance of rain in Central Florida on Wednesday, but it will try to push west before some 4th of July fireworks celebrations are scheduled.

Rain chances will be at 70 percent before sunset before tapering off.

"Heavy rain and storms will try to move just west of Altamonte Springs in time for Red, Hot & Boom on Wednesday afternoon," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. 

The high temperature will heat to 90 degrees Wednesday afternoon.

Overnight lows will be in the mid-70s.

Temperatures will reach 93 for the 4th of July, and rain chances will be at 30 percent for the holiday.

The chance of rain increases to 40 percent into the weekend.
