Hot temperatures linger in Central Florida

Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges' forecast for Orlando and Central Florida.  Tuesday, June 25, 2013.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

Some drier air will move into Central Florida on Tuesday and the heat index will again reach 100 degrees.

The high temperature in the Orlando area will be in the low to mid-90s, and there's a 30 percent chance of rain.

Overnight lows will be in the mid-70s.

"Rain chances will be on and off at 30 to 40 percent into next week across Central Florida," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.
