Mild, sunny day expected after cloudy start in Central Florida

Orlando to see high in upper 70s

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida will see another mild day on Thursday.

"We will continue to see elevated winds kick up at times out of the east-northeast, so a few coastal showers may build in," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Most of the rain that we would see comes in south of Brevard County."

The morning will start with cloud cover, but sunshine is expected later in the day.

The high in Orlando will be 76 degrees. The average high on this date is 78.

Morning lows will be in the 50s.

Friday's high will be in the upper 70s. Saturday will reach 81.

There's a 30 percent chance of rain on Sunday.

"Cooler air builds in Monday, with highs in the 60s and low 70s across Central Florida," Bridges said.

By the way, there are currently no concerns in the tropics.
