Troy Bridges' weather forecast to plan your week.  Mon., May 6, 2013.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

What a difference a week makes.

After days of rain across Central Florida last week, the Orlando area will see cooler temperatures, lots of sunshine and diminished rain chances this week.

The high temperature on Monday will only reach the low 80s.

"There's just a 20 percent coverage area for rain, and we'll see plenty of sunshine," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

The overnight low will drop to 60 degrees.

Tuesday's forecast is a mirror of Monday.

Temperatures then begin to rise and rain chances vanish from Wednesday through Friday.

"Central Florida will have highs in the 90s by the end of the week," Bridges said.
