Rain soaks Central Florida

The National Weather Service on Thursday canceled tornado watches in Central Florida, but rain continued to fall across the region.
Tornado watches issued in Brevard, Orange, Osceola, Polk and Seminole counties were canceled around 2:40 p.m.
Rain fell across the Orlando area during the midday hours and are expected to leave the area by evening. The temperature will drop to 58.
"The threat for severe weather is over in Central Florida," said Local 6 Chief Meteorologist Tom Sorrells. "Tonight we will slowly get an improving weather picture."
Friday will be mostly sunny and cool with a high of 72 degrees.
Saturday, Orlando will see a high of 76 degrees and plenty of sunshine. On Sunday, the high will be 80.
No rain is in the forecast until Wednesday.
