Temperatures to plummet in Central Florida

More rain will fall in Central Florida today, and temperatures are about to drop, too.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

More rain will fall in Central Florida on Tuesday, and temperatures are about to drop, too.

Tuesday's high temperature will be 76 degrees in Orlando.  The average high is 79.

The overnight low, however, will fall to 49 degrees.

Wednesday will be dry and cooler, with a high in the upper 60s.  The overnight low into early Thursday morning will be 52 degrees.

The high on Thursday will be in the mid-70s.

"Rain returns with a new system, putting rain chances at 50 percent on Friday and Saturday," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

The highs on Friday and Saturday will be in the 80s.
