Warmup begins after blustery day in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. -

After a cool, blustery Wednesday in Central Florida, a warmup begins -- but rain chances also increase.

Winds will gust near 30 miles per hour Thursday afternoon, but high temperatures will reach the mid-70s.  The average high is 79 degrees.

There's a chance of rain along the coast but only a 10 percent coverage inland.

"Dry conditions lead to a fire threat across Central Florida, but there are increasing rain chances for the end of the week," said Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges.

Rain chances increase to 60 percent on Friday, with highs in the upper 70s,

Rain chances will be a 30 percent for Saturday and 20 percent on Sunday, with highs in the low 80s.
