A large area of clouds and rain will move into Central Florida by Friday afternoon and the wet weather will linger into the weekend.

The system invading the Orlando area is what remains from former Tropical Storm Chantal.

"Sea breeze storms will fire up Friday afternoon, with the rain coverage at 60 percent of the area into Saturday," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Rain chances will be at 50 percent on Sunday and 40 percent into next week.

High temperatures will stay in the low 90s for the next several days.
