ORLANDO, Fla. -

Christmas is less than a week away, but it's going to feel more like summer in Central Florida in the coming days.

High temperatures on Thursday will reach the mid-70s in Orlando before a four-day stretch, including the first day of winter on Saturday, sees highs hitting the low 80s.

The average high is 73 degrees.

Ocala saw lows in the mid-30s early Thursday, prompting a frost advisory until 8 a.m., while low temperatures across the rest of the region saw lows in the 40s.

The next chance of rain is Monday, when there's a 30 percent coverage area expected across Central Florida.

The current forecast shows a high of 71 degrees on Christmas Eve and 72 on Christmas, with a 20 to 30 percent chance of rain.
