Warm weekend forecast for Central Florida

After a cool start in Central Florida, a warmup will hit the region.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

After a cool start -- temperatures ranging from the upper 30s to lower 50s -- in Central Florida, a warmup will hit the region.

"Behind the front that brought rain on Thursday, cooler, drier air is building in for Friday morning," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.  "With high pressure taking hold, skies will be sunny into the afternoon."

The high temperature in Orlando will reach 73 degrees.

The weekend will be sunny and dry.  Temperatures warm to 80 degrees on Saturday and 82 on Sunday.

Rain chances don't return to the forecast until Tuesday.
